Barcode
/ Label Printing Optional Module
For use with the Unify3 POS System
 Generally, barcodes are pre-printed on products, but the
Unify3 Barcode Label Printing optional module allows printing
your own barcodes. Unify3 will print shelf labels, price stickers
and ring tags. Labels may be printed directly from the Barcode
Label Printing module or you can configure Unify3 to print
labels for items the instant they are received. The only supported
printer is the Barcode Blaster.
Unify3
has the capability of printing shelf labels on a 2 3/8 inches
wide by 1-inch high label stock. The standard shelf label
will include the item description, item number, vendor product
code, current retail price, the date the label was printed,
and of course the barcode. UPC-A, UPC-E, Code 128, and EAN-13
barcodes types are supported. If using the print option "Split
Price On Shelf Labels" then the split price will print
in place of the current retail price.
Unify3
has the capability of printing price stickers on a 2 3/8 inches
wide by 1 inch high label stock. The standard label will include
the item description, the date the price sticker was printed,
the current retail price, and of course the barcode. If using
the print option "No Price On Price Stickers" then
the price sticker will not include the retail price.
Unify3
has the capability of printing ring tags on a 2 inch wide
by .56 inch high label stock. The standard label will include
the barcode (only UPC-E supported) on one side of the tag
and the item number, first ten characters of the item description
and the current retail price on the other side of the label.
Printing
Labels
 There are five different methods
for printing labels using Unify. You may select batches of
labels based on Item Number , Department, Subdepartment, Description,
Group, Vendor, and Stock Location. The Barcode Label Printing
module allows you to select up to 999 labels to print at one
time, and you may choose a variety of options. Select No Price
On Price Stickers to exclude the price from the price stickers.
Select Split Price On Shelf Labels to print the split price
quantity above the actual split price. And, select Print Barcode
For Every UPC Record if you want a label to be printed for
every UPC record on file for the specified label type; without
this parameter checked Unify3 will only print a label for
the most recently sold UPC.
