Creating
A New Weekly Schedule
Creating a new weekly schedule allows you
to determine a number of parameters to generate your schedule.
The Week Starting Date parameter determines what the starting
date for the week is. The entered date here will always be
modified according to what was set for the System Parameter
"Time Keeping/Labor Scheduling Starting Weekday".
For example, if the "Starting Weekday" was set for
Sunday and the operator entered 03/06/00 it would automatically
be changed to 03/05/00 since the date entered is a Monday.
The
Forecast % Increase/Decrease Over Daily Averages parameter
is used by the "auto-scheduler" to increase or decrease
the calculated daily averages. The Selected Prior Weeks For
Daily Averages is filled with the last eight weeks' starting
week dates. The selected dates here are used by the "auto-scheduler"
to come up with daily averages for those selected weeks and
then compare those averages to the current weekly schedule
to determine if any additional sales persons need to be added
to the schedule.
Set the Store Open & Close Hours to
determine the start of a working day and the end of a working
day for automatically scheduling Sales Associates. A Sales
Associate's minimum shift of 4 hours, for example, will be
backed up from the closing time to accommodate a full 4 hour
shift to end at the Closing Time.

Schedule Maintenance allows you to select the Employee, Starting
and Ending Time, and Schedule Date. Unify3 will check for
scheduling conflicts and warn the operator if one exists.

your employees.

Duplicating A Weekly Schedule
The purpose of duplicating a weekly schedule
is to allow you to quickly create a weekly schedule from an
existing weekly schedule. This is very useful in smaller stores
where there are a limited number of employees and where the
employees usually work the same schedule every week.
Enter the Week Creating Schedule For date to copy the weekly
schedule.
