UnifyMessenger is our software to monitor and manage your remote stores in Real-Time!  Sales are updated as they occur, file maintenance is sent out to the stores as soon as it's done.  The SonicMQ Java Messenging Service (JMS) guarantees delivery of the messages between UnifyHost and UnifyPOS, if the connection goes down, the UnifyMessenger infrastructure in conjunction with the SonicMQ queues communications on both sides and once the connection is available again those messages are immediately processed

The Realtime framework does more than just consolidate store data in real time. It unites UnifyHost (our store consolidation package) to UnifyPOS in all of the most popular aspects of store database maintenance. Enterprise-wide changes can be made with ease from a corporate office, from a single (or multiple) workstation(s). Such changes may include: Cashier file maintenance, cashier rights and permissions, customer file changes, keyboard locations, key attributes (duplicate receipt, prompt for manager approval, open drawer with change, etc). These are just a few of the options which can be changed in real-time, all made possible with a centralized point of administration.

Copying files to update sales and batch changes, at the end of each day, is a thing of the past with UnifyRealtime. No more copying dozens of files from each store to the corporate office, and then from the corporate office to each store. Through the use of Progress SonicMQ , we not only united our product line in real-time, but we also eliminated the need to copy any files between store and corporate office. Instead, data is packaged into discrete messages, and these messages are reliably delivered to Store or corporate office in real-time, throughTCP/IP.

The Realtime Framework also provides the following: return validation from any store to the corporate office, stock status of any item at any store or corporate, immediate financial history and item movement at corporate office. The optional Gift Card module allows you to administer your own gift card/merchandise credit program avoiding transaction fees typically associated with third party systems.
