Setting Up RentalPRO
Inventory and Rental Items

RentalPRO converts inventory items to rental items for use as rentals. Each rental item is assigned a serial number, so Rental Pro can keep track of which customers have which items rented. Also, when the item's rental life is over RentalPRO allows you to sell the item.

Days the Store is Closed

Rental Pro does not charge late fees on days the store is closed, and it ignores days the store is closed when calculating rental return dates.

RentalPro Parameters

RentalPro Parameters allow you to set important options for your rental store including late fee settings, max rentals, rental period, return time, and other important parameters.

RentalPro Cashier Functions

Setting up Function Totals allows you to determine which RentalPro operational functions are available to the cashier, and which operational totals will appear on the management reports. Available functions are Finalize Rental, Rental Sale, Customer Returns, Batch Returns, Charge Off, Sell Tape, View Rental History, View Customer Status.
