Repair-Trak
Optional Module
For use with the Unify3 POS System
Repair-Trak
is an optional POS module for Unify3 that provides full repair
order tracking for service-oriented business' specializing
in sewing machines, vacuum cleaners, cameras and photo equipment,
home electronics, and the like. A repair order is created
as a point-of-sale Special Customer Transaction similar to
Special Orders.
There
are a number of parameters in Repair-Trak that allow
you to set it up to meet your needs.
The
Require Initial Deposit parameter determines if Unify3 will
require an initial deposit and if the deposit will be based
on a dollar amount or a percent of the Repair Order. The Deposit
Amount parameter determines how much the initial deposit will
be.
The
Auto Purge parameter determines when completed or cancelled
Repair Order's are purged from the Unify3 database.
The
Require Cancellation Fee parameter determines if Unify3 will
charge a cancellation fee and if the fee will be based on
a dollar amount or a percent of the Repair Order. The Cancellation
Fee parameter determines how much the cancellation fee will
be.
Set
the Keyboard Location and Bitmap Name for Repair-TrakÔ
to determine which key and bitmap file will be loaded on the
key position in the Unify3 POS screen. This parameter is very
useful if using a touch screen.
Repair-Trak Main Menu
The
Repair-Trak menu is comprised of a toolbar and two database
browsers. The top database browser lists all Repair Orders
currently in the database (this will include open, closed
and cancelled repair orders). The bottom database browser
will list all line items of the currently selected Repair
Order.
