Order Inquiries
New
Repair Order
When
Repair-TrakÔ Order is selected, the cashier is prompted
to enter a customer name or customer number, adding them on
the fly if necessary.
A
window is displayed for the cashier to enter information for
a New Repair Order. When the transaction is totaled and the
cashier is required to tender the customer payment for the
deposit. A special Repair Order Receipt is then printed.
Selecting
A Repair Order
When any Repair-Trak function is selected (except for
Repair Order Sale), the operator will be given a list of open
Repair Orders to select from.
Once
a repair order is selected, the cashier is brought into a
normal sales transaction screen to ring up parts and labor
either into open departments, or into PLU's for inventory
parts management.
Repair
Order Pickup
Repair Order Pick Up prompts for a customer name or customer
number. When a customer is selected a list of Repair-Trak
orders on file is displayed. Selecting an order prompts for
the payment amount required to pick up the repair item, and
a special Repair Order Receipt is printed.
Repair Order Cancellation
When
Customer Cancel or Store Cancel is selected, Repair-TrakÔ
prompts for a customer name or customer number. When a customer
is selected the operator is shown a list of Repair-Trak orders
on file.
Repair-TrakÔ
never returns the deposit when canceling a Repair Order transaction.
Repair-TrakÔ handles cancellation differently for customer
cancellations and store cancellations. When a store cancellation
is performed, the Repair Order is simply cancelled with no
cancellation fee. When a customer cancellation is performed,
the Repair Order is cancelled but a cancellation fee is charged
depending on the Repair-Trak parameters. Depending on
the cancellation fee and deposit amount will determine if
the customer is required to pay any additional amount.
